The Dirty 30

On saturday August 9th i was treated with a incredible surprise birthday party. The planning has been going on for months and i cant believe that so much was put together and perfectly executed without me knowing at all. There was an INFLATABLE BOUCING CASTLE, a vegan buffet from SOUL VEGETARIAN a BADMINTON NET , a setup for CORNHOLE , and even shirts, posters and beer coozies were made and given out as party favors! Friends made the trek to Atlanta from NYC , Chicago, DC, and Florida. I was so taken back when i opened the door to see all of my best friends in the same room to celebrate the end of my 20s. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and helped me not lose my mind turning 30! And a special heartfelt thanks to my lovely lady DANIELLE for putting all of this together and still loving me even though im an old ass man now.

here is the poster that was made by WEARWOLF PRESS. and the design was by KENN TWOFOUR

Shirts were made of my favorite skateboard graphic. printed by WEARWOLF PRESS. and the design was a collaboration between KENN TWOFOUR and DANIELLE.

There was also a SMILEBOOTH set up and lent to the party my some of my FAVORITE PEOPLE.

the RENT BOYS show Atlanta one last time how to PARTY

To be perfectly honest, i didnt think that the RENT BOYS could ever top the show that i saw them play at the Claremont Lounge, but i was sorely mistaken! They played their first show back together in 7 years on August 2nd 2008 at the Star Bar here in Atlanta and it was fucking fantastic. I was amped to take photos of the event, but as soon as they started i realized that i would have to take them from a distance due to the fact that everyone at the show was tanked and tossing beer all over the place and getting insanely rowdy. It was amazing to see them play again and i can only hope it wont be the last time!

This Old House

This is just me farting around with a new toy. Hello Kodak Duaflex! Love that square format!

Cartel needed some promotional shots taken for their new record label Wind_Up. Big ups to my man Chris Black for hooking up the photo shoot.

Weekend in Chattanooga

This weekend I went work the 2nd annual Chattanooga Tattoo Arts Festival. The road crew was myself , Danielle , Matt and his wife Debbie. Good times were had. Got to eat at Country Life, there was a Vespa Convention in town. We will totally be going back there soon to chill in the water, eat food, and keep it as real as possible.

It’s A Small City After All

For the grand opening of a community art space here in Atlanta, i did a series of photos of iconic places in this beautiful city. I made prints of them and displayed them for the art show opening of WONDERROOT and if any sold, i would donate 100% of the sales to them to help launch such a rad place. I was so excited when i got he call that ALL of them sold and the folks at wonderroot were so psyched to have me donate $450 to them. WOO_HOO. well here are the images that were on display there. Be sure to check Wonderroot out , its so amazing to have a space where creative people can get together and have resources to make some awesome art!

New Beginnings

Today i setup my first seamless background at my brothers loft. This is what i came away with after wrestling with the paper and lights for over an hour. Moments after this shot was taken , kevin(my brother) decided to kung-fu kick my brand new sunpak 120j to the floor. No damage was done, but i guess it was payback for locking him out of his home yesterday. Karma.
