Keegan called me up not too long ago to take some portraits of her and her sister as a gift to her mother. I had this location in my bag of tricks for a bit and was dying to shoot there. I asked her if her mother would be into a photo of them in the woods on a old bus seat. She said that is EXACTLY what she wanted. This shoot was so rad because these sisters are drop dead beautiful, so it made my job pretty damn easy!

The last Modern Life Is War show in Atlanta
One of my favorite current hardcore bands played their final tour a couple months ago. I had the honor to tour along side Modern Life Is War in 2005. It was sad to see them go. but they bowed out gracefully and left a deep impact in everyone who saw their final appearance in Atlanta.

Where all the things that you’ve been clingingto are being ripped from your hands.”

4th of July….fun even without fireworks!!
So the Lusfords had us over again for a night of Food, Fun, and Fireworks. Only the guy bringing the fireworks never showed up. We had a blast anyhow. I ate my weight in Not Dogs and Gimme Lean burgers. we watched some fireworks off in the distance and wrestled with Chris and Brittany’s kid Colin, and their beautiful Doberman named Braddock. Can’t wait for next year!!!
