this wedding was damn perfect. set about 45 minutes outside of NYC at a park called baker camp. there was not a point in the day that everyone in attendance let go of their ear to ear smiles. i really wish i could relive this wedding again and again, it was just too fun!!! erin and chad have been such good friends (and roomates), it was so rad to see them seal the deal. erin is a photographer(she really pushed me to get to where i am) and i was blown away that she had me be the one to shoot her wedding. she also made my dream come true with jumping into the lake and letting me shoot it with her wedding dress on! oh and the vegan marshmallow roast kicked ass as well. congrats dudes!!!!
the groomsmen got engraved knives while the bridesmaids got handmade necklaces by URBAN ALCHEMIST.
oooh vegan cupcakes by karen radman!!!
as you can see, Hagan reeeeealy wanted that garter!
and now we got them in the water and i shot some of my fav wedding photos EVER!!!
woohoo!!
and the the perfect bonfire along with the first moonrise ive even seen.

Meta
AWESOME, matt. this series of photos makes me feel like i was there. good god, i want a cupcake now.
the water pics are such fun, so is the one of the bride being twirled about on the dock — i really love that one.
you captured the beautiful location beautifully.
sunflowers, a campfire and s’mores? take me next time?
seriously awesome photos. not only are the photos great, but the location just makes it all damn near perfect.
HOLY SHIT BALLS!!! awesome!
Great job dude – funny, I just typed the same thing as Kendrick without seeing her comment – so ditto – love the water ones in particular.
really really stellar photos, but i gotta say, if you got hot melty marshmallow gunk all over my wedding ring bling i would be seriously peeved- that looks very dangerous. do they even make vegan marshmallows, because i want to know where i can get some for sure- i haven’t had marshmallow roast action in like 17 years…..
Tattoos, and fire, and cupcakes, oh my!
Looks really great. I LOVE their portraits together – and especially the Ophelia-esque ones in the water.
My eye just exploded. Really.
do you even realize how awesome you are? those water shots are freaking a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
My jaw just dropped on the dock and water photos……SERIOUSLY???? The entire set is an orgasm for the eyes……really incredible work Matt.
Dude, this is sick. so good. As a wedding shooter myself, I am stoked to see other people rock out some weddings. Nathan Novak pointed me here, I also post from time to time on The Obscura. anyway, Rad work… your blog just made my daily reader.
Amazing! I´m speechless…
Gorgeous!! Stuning!
One of the best wedding photos i’ve ever seen…
Perfect!
Superb set of images, really different to the norm wedding stuff and a great record of the day.
this makes me want to get married again… i have you shoot it again! so cute!!!
woops… i meant, AND have you shoot it again!
Matt-What a beautiful job!!! You captured the spirit, fun and beauty of a fabulous day. Thanks for helping to enhance all our wonderful memories (+ some) of the weekend. I can’t wait to see the rest!!!Chad’s Mom
I’m blown away!!! These images are amazing! You are so talented, Matt. Thank you for memorializing the event with such stunning photography.
That’s cool 🙂 I love what you did with the B&W pics, plus the yellow glow that looks sooo vintage !
Those picture are amazing, and the happiness was contagious. I smiled the entire way through the collection!
Amazing job!
These pictures made me smile the whole time too! i started tearing up at Erin jumping of the dock…..i don’t even know any of these people (my mom’s the neighbor of the groom), but you captured the feeling so extraordinarily perfect.
off the dock, not of the dock ;-). And my mom’s the neighbor of the groom’s parents. jeesh!
This is the best blogg i’ve found. Got all the good stuff: übergreat photos; punk, weddings, tattoos, hot chicks and strong dudes.
Keep up the fantastic work.
Wow. Those water shots. Are you kidding? Fantastic job. If you ever need a second shooter, let me know. I’d be happy to come out and let you boss me around! : )
